For its 5th edition, Menart Fair makes a powerful return to Paris, from September 20 to 22, 2024 (VIP on the 19th), with a unique focus on celebrating female artists from the MENA region (Middle East & North Africa).

The 2024 Menart Fair will focus exclusively on this female art scene, examining the legacy of pioneering female artists and exploring the work of contemporary and emerging female creators.

THE FEMININE GAZE: REDEFINING ART

Women artists question cultural memory and its production structures, transnational artistic exchanges, and the status of women in patriarchal societies. Some of them, already established on the international scene, express through the singularity of their approaches the ability to self-create, undergo metamorphosis, and escape social or gender constraints. They also demonstrate how art is a projection towards the universal, transcending individual or collective neuroses. It is to the universality of artistic language that the feminine imagination summons us. Veiled and unveiled, it expresses itself in new artistic forms that make every truth visible.
