Cuban artist Carlos Quintana’s “Apocryphal (Apócrifos)” will be showcased – through June 5, 2014 – at the Museum of Art of the Treasure and Public Credit Department, the former Archbishopric Palace of the Federal District. The show includes a group of works that combine myth and reality to create visual fictions and narratives, thus taking viewers to the mystic sphere without any particular believe. His work also merges stories from different believes, a fact that can be perceived in the representation of characters that don’t fit in a specific time, age or reality.
