Carlos García-Alix (León, 1957) is a must-review artist when it comes to talking about narrative figuration on contemporary art. This artist outstandingly combines art and letters.
The Ghostly Library (La Biblioteca Fantasma) puts together a group of drawings and paintings that are inspired by certain literary authors: Celine, Babel, Koestler, Bulgakov, Borges, Sylvia Plath... as well as some real and imaginary libraries where these authors meet their ghosts, their characters, their sceneries, their deliriums.
The show opened its doors on April 12 and will be showcased through May 20 at Siboney gallery.
