Excelencias in Villa del Yayabo

The promotional booklet for the 500 years of the city of Sancti Spíritus and the Excelencias Turísticas del Caribe Magazines number 169, which includes more than thirty pages dedicated to the economic and social events of the spirit village, were presented at the La Guayabera House Museum, with very good influx and acceptance of public and press.

The newspaper Escambray, the radio stations Radio Sancti Spírtus and Radio Vitrales, and an office of the Latin Press Agency echoed the exhortation of José Carlos de Santiago, president of the Excelencias Group, to join in the promotion of the cozy tourist destination that represents this city, capital of the Cuban province of the same name, for its wide potential.

Interviewed live for the radio of the province, José Carlos de Santiago said that it was necessary to enhance good cuisine, and the expressions of the territory; and exalt the cultural and artistic values ​​of this town along with those of Trinidad, as a unique whole.

The Escambray Newspaper, for its part, highlighted its statement that “Sancti Spíritus has plenty of charms to attract tourists and become a reference, not in a city of passage, but in a place to be, share with its inhabitants and stroll through its beautiful spaces”, said José Carlos de Santiago, president of the Excelencias Group, a Spanish publishing company with a presence in Cuba for more than 25 years.

Likewise, he reflected that “The spirit booklet, sponsored by the local government and the latest edition of the Excelencias Turística Magazine, catches Sancti Spíritus in its pages with a journalistic look at the medieval and Mediterranean city, which enchants natives and visitors from its social and architectural wealth, whose three colonial jewels resist time and defy modernity”.
