Last Chance: 2019 Whitney Biennial Winds Down Starting September

The Whitney Biennial delivers a frontline report on what's happening in American art today. The 2019 edition includes established and emerging artists and collectives working in painting, sculpture, installation, film and video, photography, performance, and sound. With a history of exhibiting the most promising and influential artists, the Whitney Biennial—the Museum's signature exhibition—is the longest running survey of contemporary American art in the United States.

Much of the 2019 Biennial, including the fifth floor, third floor, Lobby Gallery, and Lower Level, will close on Sunday, September 22.

Some Biennial works will remain on view in the following locations:

Stairwell: Marcus Fischer (through Monday, September 23)

Lobby: Jeffrey Gibson (through Monday, September 30)

Floor Six: Various artists (through Sunday, October 27)
