Dada, Surrealism and beyond. The Arthur Brandt Collection

American art collector Dr. Arthur Brandt has chosen Sotheby's France to sell his extraordinary and diverse collection of works from the Dada and Surrealist movements and beyond.

The auction will include over 100 iconic works by some of the greatest names from the Dada and Surrealist movements such as Salvador Dalí, Marcel Duchamp, Max Ernst, Hannah Höch, Francis Picabia, Man Ray, Kay Sage, Kurt Schwitters, Kurt Seligmann and Yves Tanguy.

While the core of this remarkable group of works is dedicated to these two key 20th century movements, the collection also reflects Arthur Brandt's discerning eye for contemporary art, with works by Neo Rauch and Tom Wesselman.
