The Rolling Stones to Perform in Cuba

London.- The British rock band The Rolling Stones are in negotiations to perform in Havana in late March, announced today the guitarist Keith Richards. According to the musician, the concert of the group, considered one of the largest and most influential in the history of rock, is expected to take place in the Latinoamericano Stadium, which seats more than 50,000 people.

He also pointed out the decision was influenced by the current Stones bassist Darryl Jones, who along with his partner Bernard Fowler acted in Havana last February, as members of a group called The Dead Daisies.

The official announcement of the event will take place in Cuba when the Rolling Stones publish the dates and cities of their upcoming tour of South America, scheduled for February and March.

Richards stated that in April the Stones would go to Paris to record the 23rd group's album, the first after A Bigger Band, 10 years ago.

About his solo career, tomorrow he will announce his third album in 23 years, titled Cross-eyed Heart, which will have a variety of sounds and genres like rock, country, blues and even reggae. His previous work, Main Offender, was released in 1992.
