GALLERIA CONTINUA is delighted to announce the opening of a third space in France, at the heart of the Matignon Saint-Honoré district, an iconic location in the capital and a pivotal hub of the Parisian art market for over a century. This new project reflects Paris’ growing dynamism on the international art scene, providing the gallery's artists with a new venue rich in history, while remaining true to its commitment to reaching increasingly diverse audiences. This site complements the gallery's international presence and reaffirms its love for France.
In this space located at 108 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, Paris 8e, part of the facade of the prestigious Le Bristol Hotel, the gallery will present exhibitions featuring its represented artists. In line with its artistic signature, it will showcase rigorous and demanding works while fostering a warm, cosmopolitan atmosphere enriched by multiple influences. The new space will anchor the gallery's unique identity within the cultural vibrancy of this emblematic district in western Paris, where international art galleries, modern and contemporary art dealers, major auction houses, and key sites dedicated to fashion, craftsmanship, and the art of living coexist.
The inaugural exhibition titled 'Guerre et Paix' at GALLERIA CONTINUA / Paris Matignon highlights a transhistorical dialogue between Adel Abdessemed and Giorgio Morandi, with a selection of works illustrating their connections and contrasting perspectives, enhanced by the scenographic intervention of Jean Nouvel.
