Curatoria Forense is a work group devoted to contemporary art and coordinated by Chilean independent curator Jorge Sepulveda and Ilze Petroni, Argentinean art researcher. Since2005, they have been carrying out curatorial researches, exhibitions, talks, seminars and international residencies on contemporary artin several formats –including summer camp– in which they merge art production, debate and entertainment.
Between June and July, the project will go on a tour around Europe to spread the word on their actions since 2005, through their relations with over 170 cultural agents, autonomous managements and contemporary artinstitutions from eight Latin American countries.
Furthermore, the group is going to introduce the nine editions of contemporary art residencies in summer camp format and the Autonomous Management on Contemporary ArtNetwork will be put on the map – Latin Americaand the practices of its 38 members.
During a month and half, Jorge Sepulveda T. andI lze Petroni will be holding meetings with agents and artists from Germany, Belgium, Spain, France, Holland, Italy and Switzerland to share experiences and outlooks on contemporary artand autonomous management work models.
The tour also includes a review of Manifesta 9 and Documenta 13 European Biennial on Contemporary Art.
