La Cometa gallery: Medellín Opening

We look forward to seeing you at our Medellín. Thursday, April 10  venue from 4 PM to 8 PM for the opening of ‘The Dream of Things’, curated by Sol Astrid Giraldo.

This show features six artists: Glenda León, Liliana García, Sonnia Yepez, Alejandra Arbeláez, Daniel Gómez, and Johan Gil.

The works gathered in this collection depict a world where objects cease to be mere tools and reveal their true essence. The things that surround us—normally functional and silent—rebel here, questioning their purpose and defying logic with impossible forms and frustrated uses. Through this transformation, the presentation invites us to reflect on the relationship between objects, the body, and society, exploring the boundaries between usefulness and uselessness, the everyday and the extraordinary.
