Cuban and US musicians exhibited Beethoven's genius at the opening concert of the 19th International Fair Cubadisco, which is dedicated to choral and symphonic music.
The adjustment between the Symphonic Orchestra of Minnesota, from the United States, Cuban pianist Frank Fernandez, the National Chorus and the Vocal Leo Chorus should be among this year's artistic milestones. Fernandez began a perfect dialogue with the US orchestra, a sort of conversation with questions and answers and a final warm embrace.
An excited audience gave a standing ovation for several minutes to the orchestra, directed by Finnish conductor Osmo Vanska, winners of the 2014 Grammy Award for Best Orchestral Presentation.
