Patterns and colors are constant in the history of geometric painting. They are in the origin of the Argentine abstract art, because although in 1914 Pettoruti began to make these experiences through drawings in black and white -in the heart of the futuristic inquiries trying to grab the movement—soon he incorporated the color and associated problems of the nuances of light, the interaction between colors and above all, the suggestions that favors chromatic diversity.

Each color transformed into multiple values ??and hues, brings characteristic sound, as each instrument to the orchestra.

The relationship between music and abstract painting is not new; it is linked to their origins and Kandinsky points it the Spiritual in Art. The paint is independent of the narrative theme, of mimetic illusionism. It wants to move freely within the rules that are natural, visual, and it leaves the reality of things and takes risks to show the reality of forms. Vanguard essentialisms that even today, after almost a century, require explanation: it is very difficult that viewers abandon to the formal pleasures of visual dimension, as they do with the sound.

We move away from the field of the platitudes. We will have to learn to see, as at some point in human development we learned to listen.
