#FundaciónARCO starts a program of presentations in different Spanish cities aimed at establishing links between collectors out of Madrid and ARCOmadrid. Titled “Everything you ever wanted to know on art collecting and you never dared to ask. 10 keys to take the first steps and buy contemporary art”, the presentations are going to be carried out by an active collectors and the director of the local museum of contemporary art.
It’s a brand-new initiative that kicks off on Thursday January 16 in Seville, at Valentín de Madariaga Foundation, with the participation of collector Fernando Meana. On Tuesday January 21, the Es Baluard museum is set to host the presentation of Palma de Mallorca, attended by Jose María Civit, and, on Tuesday January 28, it is going to take place at Bilbao’s Guggenheim Museum with collectors Emilio Pi and Elena Fernandino. Finally, Barcelona’s Godia Foundation will be receiving a representative of Cal Cego Collection on Tuesday February 11.
With the collaboration of illy Caffè, the presentations are going to be open to the public, and they will be attended by Carlos Urroz, director of ARCOmadrid.
