Art for Mom: Beauty does not stay in the intention

One of the most beautiful Cuban fairs began in the country with the Cienfuegos, Villareño and Havana chapters, the latter in its usual Pabexpo fairground, and is dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the founding of Havana and the 60th anniversary of the Triumph of Revolution.

For the second year in a row, the Cuban Cultural Assets Fund (FCBC), the company that organizes the event, opted to give national character to this, with the intention of diversifying and expanding the scope of this gift that cultural institution makes to all Cuban mothers for his day for 14 years.

In addition to the stamp that prints the beauty, also the color, variety, good design and taste, and mastery in doing, characterize Art for Mom and all the fairs organized by the FCBC but this in particular, by its main recipients, acquires greater popular significance.

The central hall of Pabexpo welcomes in a pleasant design and spatial distribution, furniture products and also adds ceramics of various formats and uses; flowers and similar others of various materials; goldsmith in silver; craftsmanship with ornamental plants and wax; jewelry; works in wood, metal and glass, and lamps of diverse models, and very original watches in which artists have used multiple raw materials, among other pieces.

In the other great room, the leather, textile and footwear works are concentrated; in these second products it is appreciated, with emphasis in the footwear, a gradual increase of fair in fair of the quality and update of the designs according to the current tendencies and the international fashion.

Two details to highlight in Art for Mom; the spaces that occupy the National Distributor and the Provincial Center, of the Book are privileged, which contributes to a greater visualization of the titles that are presented in them and that without a doubt can constitute, for many mothers, excellent gifts.

The other element on which attention should be drawn is the stand of Collage Habana, National Center of Plastic Arts of the FCBC; Once again, this structure sells mounted reproductions of the great masters of the Cuban plastic arts such as Fidelio Ponce, René Portocarrero, Víctor Manuel, Carlos Enríquez, Amelia Peláez, Wifredo Lam, among others of the creators of works, very demanded by the public that also in this edition of Art for Mom has the possibility of acquiring them at more affordable prices than in previous years, in three formats, with simple frames and without color that allow the combination in any space of a property and that otherwise it is not necessary, because the important thing is the work.

The singer Annie Garcés, accompanied by young musicians offered numbers of the authorship, among others, Mauricio Figueral and Adrián Berazaín to the attendees at the opening of this party that is Art for Mom that will remain open to the public in Pabexpo until 11 May, except May 1st, from 11 in the morning to 7 at night.
