Washington.- All Cuban artists express their condolonces for the death of Salvador Corratge,86, one of the pioneers of abstract painting in Cuba who also was a photographer,graphic designer,jewel makers and memeber of the mitical group called Ten Concrete Painters,or Diez Pintores Concretos.
This year he was nominated for the National Prize in Arts in Cuba and he died last Thursday because of intestinal complications while he was visiting the city of Miami, USA.
He was working on a personal exhibition called A Sea of Forms that he was going to present in The Art Core Galery in Miami with works from the fifties up to the present.
