OFF PHotoESPAÑA 2020. N2 Gallery

It is a pleasure to announce our participation in the OFF PHotoESPAÑA 2020 with the virtual exhibition "Epic desertions" by Juan Carlos Batista. From July 1 to October 31 you can visit the artwork of this Canarian artist.

In Epic Desertions we find a frieze of stories built from the intervention of historical photographs and archive images of the First World War. In the face of the Great Carnage that was The Great War, the only heroic way out would be to desert. Chronicle of a fictional escape, abandonment or desertion of a memory made with silver sales. A daring flight, where even the air is under the iron custody of the war machine.

For the first time, and keeping in mind the new ways of living and relating, PHotoESPAÑA is proposing this year a digital development of the OFF Festival, turning the Festival's website into a platform for dissemination and a meeting point for Spanish galleries, general public, collectors and artists.
