Join us for the exhibition opening of Art after Stonewall, 1969—1989. The exhibition opening is free and open to the public. Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots of 1969, this groundbreaking survey features more than 200 works of art and related visual materials that explore the profound impact of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBTQ) liberation movement on visual culture.
The exhibition's curator, Jonathan Weinberg, will give a lecture on the exhibition from 4-5pm followed by the opening.
The lecture and exhibition opening are free and open to the public. Seating for the lecture is limited and on a first come, first serve basis.
