The Art and Community Network, represented by the headquarters of the UNEAC and its Community Culture departments, the CIERIC, and artists and project coordinators throughout Cuba, is celebrating its tenth anniversary of creation as a vital link in the community cultural activities in the country.
The network has the mission to constitute a stable work platform that accompanies Cuban society, promotes values and sense of belonging, builds capacity and contributes to the conception of the role that culture has on the country's development.
It is a project that has come from Havana to the outermost points of the geography of the island, to encourage the promotion of art and literature, recognition and training for project managers and artists, members of the UNEAC.
Thanks to the network there is an effective way of overcoming through competitions, workshops, events, training courses and management and material support in the case of some community projects.
Throughout the year the tenth anniversary will continue being celebrated with a group of workshops and activities where tributes and reminders will be celebrated, as a construction and recovery time for the future.
