The Arte por Excelencias project’s website http://www.arteporexcelencias.com is produced by Spanish company Exclusivas Latinoamericanas ELA, S.L., with legal HQs in Capitan Haya 16. 28020, Madrid, Spain; and operates in America and the Caribbean using Grupo Excelencias trademark.
Excelencias is a member of CTO (Caribbean Tourism Organization) and CHA (Caribbean Hotel Association) and it’s linked to UNESCO through a collaboration agreement. Its representative offices are based in Spain, Holland, Germany, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Aruba, Jamaica, Venezuela and Brazil.
The art project of this group, which publishes Excelencias Turisticas del Caribe magazine reflecting events related to contemporary fine arts and their different expressions in the Caribbean and America, includes the Arte por Excelencias printed magazine (its content is entirely published on the web), a digital system of specialized news (AxE News), the Excelencias Virtual Gallery and Excelencias Cultural Space from Madrid (the information regarding to the exhibitions and other activities are also published on the web). These products, previously accessible in different domains, are summarized since September 2010 –into two languages, Spanish and English– in the same electronic address: http://www.arteporexcelencias.com.
Arte por Excelencias magazine and the AxE News system are complemented in content, the first one as a space to reflect on visual arts in Latin America and the Caribbean, the events, as well as promoting certain proposals or projects; and the second one as an information-news supplement, sent to its readers through a news alert system. Our publications’ objective readership is integrated by fine artists, art critics, curators, researchers, museographers, as well as people, galleries, museums, art fairs, biennials and institutions who are interested in been posted on everyday events related to visual creation.
Arte por Excelencias is a bilingual magazine (Spanish and English) which is distributed in Spain, United States, Latin America and the Caribbean; and it’s presented in the most important fairs and events related to the world of art. The content of each issue is entirely published and compiled in our website. Subscriptions can be negotiated through ordinary mail or by application in our website.
Excelencias Virtual Gallery is focused on promoting the work of Latin American and Caribbean creators by carrying out virtual exhibitions and other promotional actions. The site offers users the opportunity to look for specific authors or expressions, as well as consulting a particular work or creator.
Excelencias Cultural Space, along with the exhibition area, is complemented with physical spaces for multiple cultural events related to Latin American, Caribbean and universal art, in the Spanish capital.
