SGAE’s Fundacion Autor organizes 'Feminis-Arte. Audiovisuales y Género (Feminis-Arte. Audiovisuals & Genre)' show, at Sala Berlanga (Madrid) on October 14 - 16. The initiative includes the screening of artworks created by 22 international artists. Curated by Margarita Aizpuru, it’s a comprehensive retrospective on the female approach to the audiovisual world.
The exhibition displays 28 video-art works produced by 22 authors from different countries: Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Guatemala, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Mexico, Costa Rica or Cuba. Some of the acclaimed creators participating in the show are Cristina Lucas, Marina Nuñez, Carmela Garcia, Maria Cañas, Regina Jose Galindo and Anna Jonsson, among others.
