Ramón Casas Vieira
Florida, Camagüey, 1954

Graduated from the Higher Institute of Arts (ISA) in 1982 and from the National Arts School (ENA) in 1976. He has attained remarkable teaching experience in important art schools in Cuba. He has fulfilled individual exhibitions in Cuba, Austria and Germany and a great number of group exhibitions in Cuba, Mexico, Venezuela, Chile and Switzerland. He has participated in editions of Subastahabana, in Havana Biennials and holds a great number of sculptural works of art located in public places. His works can be found in collections of different countries such as: Cuba, Spain, Germany, Austria, Mexico and United States among others.
