Julio César Peña

Counting on an independent formation, he starts to paint by the year 1984. In 1995, he becamemember of the engravers group of the Carmelo González Workshop. He is member of the Havana Experimental Graphic Workshop.

Julio César Peña Peralta
Born in Holguín, Cuba, 1969

Freelance artist, he starts to paint and engrave around 1984 and 1985.He has done individual exhibitions in Cuba, Mexico and Japan and he has participated in group exhibitions in Cuba, Mexico, United States, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Argentina and Spain among other countries.He has been awarded several times as engraver in Cuba, Puerto Rico, United States and Japan. He has participated in auctions and in group murals.
