Ángel Manuel Ramírez Roque

He exhibits in Cuba, Malaysia, Sweden, Japan, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Spain, Mexico and Japan and he has participated in group shows in Spain, Colombia, United States, Panama, Italy, France, Brazil, Egypt, UK, Chile and Germany among other countries. Include participation in the First Graphic Biennial in Argentina, in the Biennial of Prints in Puerto Rico and also in Sao Pulo Biennial and Havana Biennial. His work has participated in various subastahabana emissions.

He has received numerous awards, most notably is the Third Prize at the First Graphic Biennial in Argentinain 2000, the Prize of the VIII Biennial of San Juan of Caribbean and Latin American Engraving, in 1988 and the Prize of the Second National Meeting of Engraving , Havana, Cuba in 1987.

He has illustrated covers and pages of magazines and art books, literature and poetry in Cuba, Spain and the United States. His works are part of private collections in USA, Japan, France, Germany, Portugal, Finland, Holland, Greece, Ecuador, Brazil, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Venezuela, among others.

He is a member of the Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba and holds the Order for National Culture.
